Qur’anic Reflection – Suratul Baqarah Verse 22
Suratul Baqarah verse 22:
Translation:
He who made the earth a place of repose for you, and the sky a canopy, and He sends down water from the sky, and with it He brings forth crops for your sustenance. So do not set up equals to Allah, while you know.
Reflection:
One of the best ways of knowing Allah is through making use of the available blessings. The earth and rain are merely the means: the growth of plants and fruits is dependent upon Allah. The notion of Allah having a partner stems from ignorance.
